Founded in 1997, Prairie Family Church is a dedicated gathering of people helping build healthy families in the Greater Bismarck Area through fresh and relevant local church ministry. We are a chartered affiliate of Open Bible Churches, Inc. (Open Bible) – a family of Pentecostal churches collaborating in domestic and foreign missions.
Prairie Family Church offers excellent ministry for those who want to find, follow and know Jesus. We’re about helping make room for Christ in seekers’ hearts. If growing in Christian spirituality is your aim, join us… it’s ours, too.
We welcome you to enjoy a warm and hospitable church setting where you can understand the language and feel like more than a number.
Toward that end, we…
1- Offer exceptional ministry to children and teens;
2- Facilitate provocative, in-depth study groups for adults;
3- Provide insightful and useful pulpit ministry;
4- Place emphases on community.
Our church life is simple: fervor without fanaticism; reason without rigidity; accountability without undue control; love demonstrated through serving one another; encouragement to invest in the now and the future.
Our philosophy is equally simple: The primary “business” of our church is not to make members happy. It is primarily to help make them holy. Spiritual health begins at that moment in life when Jesus has become one’s Savior. Personal fulfillment and happiness grows as His lordship increases in us.

Meet Our Staff
Senior Pastors- Reverend Greg and Debbie Carr
Pastor Greg and Debbie Carr have been ministering together to people since June 14th, 1986. They have served as camp directors in Clear Lake, IA, youth pastors in Ottumwa, IA and West Des Moines, IA and senior pastors at the Winfield Open Bible Church in Winfield, IA for 12 years. Pastor Greg is a graduate of Eugene Bible College, has been a licensed minister since 1990 and was ordained in 1999. Debbie is a graduate of Open Bible College...
